Kindergarten Page
Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year. We are starting to tape new things from our incoming Kdg. classes. We are having fun learning new songs, learning how to keep the beat, learning how to listen and move to different music, AND how to read and write rhythms. Keep checking in as we add new pictures and video.
A cold icy wind, and some pretty singing.
Our new winter song is called "A cold Icy Wind." Our scarves tell the story, too.
Johnny One Hammer performed by the Bobble-heads! 2011
In October we learned a funny action song called, "Johnny One Hammer." We had to use our coordination and our beat keeping skills to do all five verses. Watch us try this activity. We had to sing with no guitar because the guitar player was taking the video. The big challenge in this song is to keep the right and left hands and feet going opposite of each other. It's really easy to just do them together. It's also easy to forget to keep the hands moving when the feet are moving, too. The last verse is the bobble-head verse. We look pretty funny. :)
Little Teapot... with a surprise!
Everyone knows the "Little Teapot Song." Watch us do this, but with a new twist at the end!
Whoo, Whoo, who can sing our new Wise Old Owl song?
We are learning some new Nursery Rhyme Songs this year. Some are the old familiar ones, and some are new. This is one of our new songs.
